This is tripod 19th century morse code signal lamp reclaimed from naval Warship. These types of signal lamps were seen on US Warship in WWII. The inner opens and closing by pulling on the handles with an intect glass casing. It has 360 degree turning wheel. This lamp comes with three different colors glass but you can add more color glass as per your choice.

  • Material: It appears to be made of metal with a polished nickel or chrome finish, giving it a bright, reflective, and rugged industrial look. Some versions may use polished brass or have an antique finish.

  • Adjustability: A key feature is the ability to adjust and swivel the light head. It's usually mounted on a yoke or bracket that allows for full 360-degree rotation and an up-and-down tilt, letting you direct the light exactly where you need it.

  • Light Source: The front features a glass or lens (sometimes with a yellow or amber tint, as seen in the image, or a clear lens) that mimics the look of an old-fashioned Fresnel lens or a powerful searchlight. It uses a standard electric bulb, often an E27 screw-type, and an LED filament bulb is frequently recommended to enhance the vintage aesthetic.

Tripod Stand

  • Design: The stand is a three-legged tripod design, which provides excellent stability and adds to the antique surveying equipment or camera tripod aesthetic.
  • Material: The legs are typically made of natural teak or sheesham wood with a polished, honey-brown, or teak finish. This wood contrasts beautifully with the shiny metal parts.
  • Metal Accents: The legs are reinforced and connected by metal fittings, brackets, and bracing that match the finish of the spotlight head (chrome/nickel in this case). The feet often have pointed metal caps or similar nautical-style hardware.
  • Adjustability: The tripod is often height-adjustable—you can extend or shorten the legs to change the lamp's overall height, making it highly versatile for different spaces.

Usage

  • Aesthetic Appeal: This style of lamp is a statement piece. It combines rustic wood with polished industrial metal to create a striking look that brings a sense of history, adventure, and drama to a room.

  • Interior Styles: It's particularly well-suited for Industrial, Nautical/Coastal, Rustic, Vintage, or Eclectic interior designs. It can also serve as a fun, dramatic focal point in a more modern or minimalist space.

  • Function: While it provides general and accent lighting, its spotlight nature makes it effective as a task lamp to illuminate a specific area, like a piece of art, a reading chair, or a corner of a room.

Caution ⚠:- To open the stand, open all three screws of the stand together! Because It’s heavy.
